Wheeler Named WHAC W.O.W.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Indiana Tech junior Nate Wheeler was named the NAIA National Wrestler of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday.

Wheeler, the top-ranked wrestler at 157-lbs., went 3-0 this past weekend at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament to win the individual title and was voted as the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament by the conference coaches.

It's the first time in his career that he's won the conference award.
