Description: This award goes to the coach, and staff, who has elevated their team the best. 

Breakdown: If coming in to the year you told me that Center Grove would send a historic 12 kids to state, I would have said you have lost your mind. Well thats exactly what the Trojans did. The had a semi-state tournament for the ages, as they brought 12 to the Ford Center and walked out with the same number. Fast forward a week and there is no way they can replicate the performance they had at the semi-state. The Trojans put 5 in the finals, including two kids who finished 4th at the semi-state. The also walked away with a state champion in Charlie LaRocca. As a whole, CG put 8 guys on the podium and all finished Congratulations to Coach Swain, and his staff, on winning this years Hoosiermat Coach of the Year Award.
